About Us

 We are Jewish students at UCSB and Santa Barbara City College, and we are part of a world-wide organization of Jewish college students who are looking to find Jewish friends and to connect to our people.

There is no one kind of “Hillel Jew.” We are religious and non-religious, ball-players and musicians, traditionalists and liberals, Democrats and Republicans, Zionists, atheists, and agnostics. We come from Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Israel, Iran, Russia, and everywhere in-between. Some of us are straight and some are gay. Our skin is brown, white, black and golden.

We are as diverse as the human race, but we share a rich, proud past…and we want you to join us.
