Once again we will celebrate Passover with hundreds of our students at Santa Barbara Hillel.
Here is our schedule of activities (note that Hillel will also provide Kosher food throughout the week of Passover to help you have a happy and Kosher Pesach!): Friday, April 22, 7:15pm: First Night Student Seder at Hillel
Join us for a fun, participatory seder with delicious homemade Kosher food! Seder is provided at no charge, so all students are encouraged to come and bring a friend to our wonderful community event. Tuesday, April 26, 6:30pm: Matzah Mia at Hillel
Come make the most delicious matzah creation you have ever had. The sky is the limit at this make-your-own event. Everything you need will be provided for this appetizing experience.
Wednesday, April 27, 11:30am-1:30pm: Now Shmear This Matzah on the Annex Lawn
Join Taylor for her weekly shmear with a Passover twist. Matzah, cream cheese, and schmoozing to be enjoyed by all.
Wednesday, April 27, 7pm: Schmooze with the Jews (Passover) at Hillel
Our annual schmoozing program featuring a Passover focus! Come talk about Passover and Freedom while enjoying some delicious Passover treats! Friday, April 29, 6:30pm: Passover and Alumni Shabbat at Hillel
Come celebrate this special Alumni Shabbat with the vibrant and welcoming Santa Barbara Hillel community! Student-led services at 6:30 PM followed by kiddush and complimentary kosher for Passover dinner at 7:15!
Alumni please RSVP here. Saturday, April 30, 7:30pm: Havdallah and Bread Bowl Bonanza at Hillel
Join us as we end Shabbat and Passover. We will do Havdallah, the service to end Shabbat, at Hillel and then walk together to Buddha Bowls for a bread filled evening. This event is being sponsored by supporters David Dunn and Tamara Dunietz in honor of our student chef who prepared last year's seder meal (especially the soup!). You must join us at Hillel in order to get your bowl for free.
