Campus Life

Week of Welcome 2010Santa Barbara Hillel is at the heart of campus life here in Isla Vista.  Whether in the building or out in the community, we are constantly reaching out to new students through a variety of programs and activities.  These include candle making, a Purim carnival, name reading on Yom HaShoah, and schmoozing with freshmen over bagels. We also take pride in participating in programs on campus through the Multicultural Center (MCC), Office of Student Life (OSL), Associated Students (AS), Taubman Symposium for Jewish Studies, among many others.

One of the most important things we do on campus is freshmen programming. We make the extra effort and go the extra mile to have programs in the dorms for freshmen. If you are a freshman or know a freshman and would like more information please contact Jamie Powell, Engagement Associate.
