Every year, approximately 350,000 Jewish students are enrolled in college or university, representing more than 85% of the Jewish community. Our challenge is to help the next generation of Jews choose a life filled with pride and values – at one of the last opportunities before they disperse to the working world.
Hillel's mission: To enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Hillel's goal in the next few years is to double the number of students having meaningful Jewish experiences while in college. We invite you to partner with us and make an investment in a vibrant Jewish future in one of the following ways. Hillel’s annual operating budget is $500,000—80% of which comes from individual donors. Hillel is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, and you can make a tax-deductible charitable donation by sending a check to Hillel, 781 Embarcadero del Mar, Goleta, CA 93117.
In addition, Santa Barbara Hillel is actively seeking endowment gifts that will allow us to sustain our programs into the long-term future. We encourage you to consider including UCSB Hillel in your estate planning, and we can provide information about endowment opportunities.
